About Me

I am an Australian Barrister.

I was admitted as a legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of NSW in 2002, and called to the Bar in 2006.

I accept instructions from solicitors in family law matters.

I accept briefs from Independent Childrens Lawyers, however I am now restricting Legal Aid matters otherwise.

In most cases, if you have a legal problem, you need to see a solicitor first, who (if appropriate) can then provide me with instructions about your case. I can recommend several solicitors if you do not know any, however the choice of solicitor is entirely up to you.

I have had former lives as a musical entertainer, teacher, security guard, computer fix-it guy and solicitor. My last legal employment prior to beginning my own practice was with Turnbull Hill Lawyers in Newcastle (Australia), Southwark Borough and the Crown Prosecution Service in London (UK).

I was the Newcastle Regional Representative of the NSW Bar Association from 2008-2014.
